    It seems the same as buying plug tops, usually with a 13 amp fuse. You should be matching the fuse with whatever load is going on it.

    Have you asked about CCTV or is it only there to catch drivers who park one minute over their ticket time? I know someone who had their van broken into during the day in a school. This sort of thing makes me so angry.

    I am a diy'er so it is not worth buying top of the range tools, but would rather use a decent tester even with the power off to be sure.

    I have seen problems with motorbikes like that in the past, it has always been an earthing problem, try running a separate earth to various places while it is doing it.
