What are your guys thoughts on this a 13amp FCU feeding of a ring feeding a light. I know usually people fuse at 3amp but if unlikely to cause overload does it actually have to be fused down?

TBH not the end of the world if a 13Afuse used I suspect it will break within time parameters. Also if it’s off a socket then probably RCD protected.

Obviously it should be 3A, but if someone has popped a 13 in by mistake not the worst thing I’ve seen. definately change it for a 3A now you have seen it.

never deliberately fit a 13A when it should be 3A. That’s just silly.
