Hello, I've recently been having problems with my freesat set up. I have two freesat boxes connected to the same satellite dish, some channels are weak or missing but not necessarily the same on both boxes. I've checked the cable connections both ends and that the dish hasn't moved, and thoughts?
I have an old Volvo 850 and have been diagnosing a problem with the abs. I narrowed it down to the multi connector which connects to the abs unit in the engine bay. Is there a way of pulling the individual cables out of multi connector for inspection?
I have a cable which was used to supply power to an illuminated niche fitted into a cavity wall. The niche has been removed, would it be okay to terminate the cable with a maintenance free junction box and slide it back into the cavity?

If you take the time to sort the plastic into different types it's a lot easier to recycle. There are schemes run by companies like terracycle who can recycle plastics which are not normally recycled. Some plastics can be used to make Ecobricks which can be used in some construction projects...
While ripping the old bathroom fittings out I noticed that none of the pipework or fittings were earthed. Should they be earthed and if so what is the preferred method?
I was just being lazy and run one length of conduit, but having tried getting two lengths of cable through the conduit I am going to put two runs of conduit in.
