    Not sure where you get spare drivers from? 400k drivers short divided by 27 is slightly less than 100k. They’re still short of drivers but nowhere near as much as the UK.

    I think they’re about 400k drivers short in the EU. But 400k divided by 27 with the added luxury of free movement means they’re able to react and adapt to issues more easily.

    Food banks are prospering in my area. No empty shelves or logistic issues in the EU.

    Not sure we have the population to fill these gaps. Fair proportion of factory workers had to claim UC to top up wages. Wages will have to go up but even then I suspect there will be a short fall in labour. Government will have to relax the immigration rules, probably in line with EU border...

    My Mrs has insisted on induction. Very easy to keep clean and the mother-in law even likes to come round just to polish it ?. You do need the iron based pans and they do need to be flat on the hop to work. I much prefer gas as you can lift the pan when frying especially when splashing the eggs...

    I did an online course with XS Training and just booked exam with Guildford College where I happened to be doing another course at the time. Would have thought you should be able to do the exam via any college or training provider that has access to the C&G exam system.

    Border controls have still not been fully implemented yet. New restrictions to be implemented on 1st Oct are likely to cause more disruption.

    As above. Rip out all the transformers. Hopefully there’ll be enough slack to cut out the crispy cable. Install 230v fire rated integral or GU10’s.
