I apologise Bob if it came across as having a go at you. Just, as a newcomer to this trade I get slated, whereas I know loads of experts who'll never change job because they, basically, haven't got a clue...
In my 'yoof' I lived in a council alloy pre-fab that should've been demolished 30 years earlier. Beading down the walls every 4' foot or so to cover the joins. Anyhow, that got rewired, and it was a damn sight better job than that!
