    Sorry, its a resistance test but i set it to bleep if the 2 wires are in contact. Its definitely not the switch wires as i found them. But its not a megger i am using, just a multi meter.

    Defo not a glo worm. I aint doing the job but they want advice. Basically they have a boiler and a little pump to power, they have asked if its ok just to plug them in or would you put them both on there own 3A fused spur?? Also is a fused spur DP??

    I got sucked into the yell pages, a guy came round promised me 11 jobs a month, i was just starting out and said yea why not, bad mistake, had 1 job i think off it. Very tough at minute. Got a few leaflets left so going to send out to letting and estate agents i think. Good post.

    Hello, got an electric fire to fit, they want it on a switch. Only 2 sockets in room and 1 is a spur from the other, is there anyway i could use that supply?? Also wooden floor that they dont want taking up. Thanks.

    Hello, a customer wants a double socket in the lobby, its al laminated flooring and solid floor. The nearest socket is already spured off. The main electrics are in the lobby too and there are some splitter blocks feeding the main cu and a cooker unit. Could i get a feed from the splitter box...

    Would i have to do both?? Or you sayin that for extra safety?? So my options are; Wire in 2.5mm pvc and use steel trunking. Wire in SWA with NO trunking Or switch fused spur 2.5mm pvc and no trunking?? Am i right??
