    rcd, rcbo query

Not entirely sure of your set up but i would have thought that the rcbos protecting the SWA should have been time delayed RCDs. Also when you say type c16amp rcd, doesnt this mean an RCBO as well? The set up sounds a little strange or im misunderstanding your post.

    New stables behind house/garage

Sorry, misread your original post. Best to do the calculation and go with this. If it is already over, then not much you can do but: 1. Lower load. Not possible. 2. Larger CSA cable. Possible 3. Move stables closer to house. Prob not possible.

    Single phase switched fuse

Yes, not sure if you mean to have two MCBs in the same enclosure. If not then the first suggestion will be cheaper. If you go with separate switch fuses then u will also need a henley block. The wylex one suggested allows u to use MCB if required.

    Wire found in fireplace

Chris, It is a bit hard to advise the best way of getting a socket to the fire place as it depends on loads of factors, e.g. to you have a solid floor of floor boards, laminate floor etc and a load of others to numerous to mention. May be best to call a sparky.
