    it varies . standard size or the slim variety. the slim reels are much bigger diameter.

    i would only worry if they were 50watt halogens. the heat from LED bulbs is minimal so I'd leave alone, but not cover with ithcy-poo.

    you need to calculate current per phase to start with . Then determine volt drop for that load and length. If over 5% then up the cable size to suit.

    only answer is to measure resistance between points. I once has a TNC-S with SWA armour acting a SPC. Although Earth Bar was screwd into Metal box, The Earth Bar - Box measured 100 ohms.

    to put it simply. the fault current will be of such short duration that the cable will not have time to overheat
