    disabling scart pins

What's a scart cable?😂😂 Hadn't come across one in years until last week, when it was attached from a VCR to a CRT TV...was like a step back in time.

    Seem to find time wasters

See, I can see if that was me I'd come home to be left with the decking boards they didn't need or the less good ones all left behind and a negative seller review left for me🤣

    Seem to find time wasters

Ha, that's nowt. Wait till you list something you want shot of for free, that brings the best of them out. We did that with mother in laws old kitchen appliances...all old Miele stuff fully working, the amount after free delivery & installation was shocking.

    Shed install. Splitting tails

I take it when it came to getting the ducting for the DNO supply, a big hammer was the only tool available? Never seen the cut out mounted like that before either, it certainly doesn't look the most secure mounting. Also never seen the duct left open and not filled with a putty of some sort.

Meter Boxes not fit for purpose?

The boxes are most often stuck down the side of houses here and out of the way. The door for the boxes however can be often found elsewhere, probably by the front door.

Plastic back boxes for lime plaster

Any wholesaler that gets Marshall Tufflex items can get them, you might just need to wait a little till they put an order in as they aren't a readily stocked item. I got them from my independent wholesalers last time I needed them, they are handy when doing old houses with no cavity walls as...

Plastic back boxes for lime plaster

Good luck with that, they are anything but the same as there is no forgiveness if you set a surface box into the wall. The faceplate has no overlap so the box has to be set perfect, and the plasterer has to work to that the same way they would with a door frame.

Plastic back boxes for lime plaster

Don't use dry lining boxes though, that would be a bit shoddy. Use plastic flush boxes...Marshall Tufflex make them

Electric underfloor heating for a church?

UFH for a building used sporadically doesn't seem like the best of ideas, by the time the heat starts to come through the building is empty again

    Estate agents contractors list

I'd be asking them what there payment terms are before giving them any rates. If it's not payment on invoice I wouldn't be bothering quoting for any works. If it is payment on invoice, ask what kind of works they have in mind.

Rewire on red brick early 1900’s Victorian house

Buy a cheap wall chaser and suitable vacuum. Angle grinder will be horrible to work with the amount of dust produced. Wall chaser can be set to the depth you want to cut the chase to.
