On this install there was no old doorbell so we decided to use plug in power supply as socket was in perfect place for it. You can get ring one for 25 quid or one from amazon or ebay for tenner. It has to be minimum 16v. Ring supply power kit v2 in the box to bypass existing chime as most UK...
I've install one recently. It was Ring Pro - it had everything in the box - din rail transformer and plug in chime. If you don't have existing wires you can buy a power supply and plug in to nearby socket and run cable to doorbell
That's the type of spd kit Contactum sells, very easy to retrofit if you have available ways.
You could not fit it to the left of the MS if consumer unit populated with Rcbo's as per pic
Imho I can't see this will invalidate warranty the key thing here is to keep earth connection as short as possible less then 500mm which you will achieve. Sometimes spd have to be fitted to separate enclosure outside CU due to lack of available ways.
Left to the MS I don't think you can. You would have to cut section of busbar and even then it will likely block the earth connection which is on the bottom.
Is there no slack on tails to move MS
Left at the end of the board then should be fine as long as mcb protecting it is not on rcd side.
If the walls are dead level there will be 10-15mm adhesive behind plasterboard so won't cover the back boxes.
I always chase where the back box is going to be and fix them after plasterboard are installed, that way you can set it excacly how you want it and no complains
Good thing you finally sorted. Did you check spam folders on your other accounts?
I took one from lloyds couple of months ago, whole process was very quick and easy. Just filled several questions and submit. Email confirmation in minutes and few days after money landed onto account. It loooks...
Best thing is to try them and choose one you are most comfortable with. Increased payload may help with clearance on rough roads but ride may be compromised slightly. IMHO there are no bad vans in terms of reliability only bad drivers, if you take good care of it it will last.
Use that...
Two brown wires needs to go to COM, other brown to L1 and whats most important earth wires green/yellow needs to be connected to earth terminal in your switch
Depends how you looking at it and how much luck will you get with potential buyers.
You need to weight your time off work or at weekends to show them the van and test drive it fees from fleebay etc against any potential price different they will offer. If time is critical and you can swallow...
This diagram may be of help.
To make sure test at the plug with reverse on and off.
Make sure to seal properly all the holes when you run your cables as to prevent any water ingress
I've been thinking to buy one of those

I don't expect quality to be top notch but for that price I think...
Nothing suspicious. One fcu for bathroom fan and towel rail and rest is just sockets and lights, only 4 circuits 1x kitchen ring, 1x sockets ring, 1x sockets radial probably extended from old immersion heater and 1x lights, impedances seems appropriate to length of the circuits
I know where you going with this ;)
And indeed electric radiator was plugged in there. Maybe i can convince her to run whole house from this socket
