How do you keep the dust down

I use the dade for Downlights and have a chaser and m class vac for tracking. Multi tool plasterboard walls doesn’t make that much dust, never mind in the air.

    NEW BUSINESS, DO I OR DON'T I?

Also if it’s the type of thing I’m thinking above, you could find you’re never on the tools and just doing paperwork and estimates and pricing round suppliers or is he going to give you all that and secretary etc too, and you’ll go on site and be foreman? Or what do you expect to be doing...

    Thoughts on new builds........

My mate a kitchen fitted got a new build a year ago coming in August. He’s been at war with the developer/builder for months now, holes all over the floor above Downlights, gaps round the windows, staircase had gaps, all spindles had to be replaced as they were warped. He phoned me one day as...

    Dewalt Green Laser Level...Which One?

I’ve a red laser cross hair scope on my .22, though not had a chance to zero it in yet.

    Dewalt Green Laser Level...Which One?

Tel, the red ones are virtually invisible in bright light and outdoors. Green supposed to be more easy to see as it’s a more intense beam, hence the harder battery life.

    Dewalt Green Laser Level...Which One?

I have the red multi line 3 way laser, it’s a 30hr battery life and I wish I had bought a 10.8v version. So if it’s only 16 hours with the green line then I’d defo spend the extra, nothing worse than batteries dying and no spares and in the back of beyond to add insult to injury. Let me know...

    CAT S61 (smartphone for tradies)

I quite like the new Defender Beast Toughphone, has the biggest battery on the market, think it’s £540 all in, has loads of handy features, distance, level, plumbob etc, but no FLIR option. The battery life appeals to me the most tbh.

    CCTV recommendations

They’re almost 1/2 that plus vat in my local independent. I fitted a set for them when I wired their new branch, they were ok, but I much prefer the Hikvision stuff.

Brilliant. Thanks guys, think I’ll have a wee look this evening and see what else I can buy whilst the 10% offer is on.

    CCTV recommendations

I second the Hikvision. Ip cameras and nvr boxes as opposed to the coaxial cameras and Dvr boxes, the kits are aimed at the diy market, and are all over the net, I see regular rants on various Facebook buy and sell groups about being conned etc. Whereas the Hikvision ip stuff from ADi are...
