    I find with a lot of the newer technology items in our area of expertise, that you need to be doing them fairly regularly, to at least stay somewhat switched on and remain reasonably fast at installing, otherwise it’s not worthwhile.

    I thought the nest good based on ease of install and client feedback but would say the hive has more additional options with the plugs to control other items etc. Argos had the Hive on sale at £80 last Friday.

    Generally I find the problem with the whoosh is due to too narrow a duct. The manrose mf100t is a 6” fan with 4” ports, hence the whoosh when using 4” ducting from the ceiling to the fan.
