you could call your business Miss Gorilla Pits and still most of the guys would be imagining elle macpherson with a hammer and heels everytime you post.. :p
i'd maybe add lack of strain relief on the termination too.
do you mean pre-amendment 3? what changed then?
EDIT: ah i see westward's post we're talking bout the rcd protection
what tel said. electrical labourers ecs card for work as a mate. if the level 2 qualification isn't 2365 then forget it. part p and pat testing are a waste of money, but loads of places throw them in cheap to "bulk out" the "value" of the package. 17th edition would usually be a must and...
i can't help but feel that maybe if there were big unremovable labels on all sockets, accessories, etc. yes even making your pretty brushed steel screwless faceplate look ugly, then just maybe people might just have a little more respect for this electricity thing..
oh wow. i know i can't wait for the next update :D
really gets me why the f the scams think that someone who has done a dangerous and/or non-compliant (and therefore possibly illegal) job should deserve be invited back to attempt to rectify their mistakes?!
just to be controversial, it's clearly a newbuild. the plans would detail insulated walls and the sparks should be working to that specification with their design and installation methods..
now if it was retrofilling cavity insulation..
okay so, i'll just hand my sparksunion card in at the door...
...but extracting essential oils is usually made possible by distillation (or pressing), not by soaking in hot water.. ? don't mean to start going off topic, though. the PID will do the job you want, there's plenty of guides to wiring them up online, you can either incorporate it into the unit...
ramp rate means how long it takes to ramp up the temperature. or you can use the PID to control power to the water boiler, or to hold it at a given temperature. though controlling the temperature at 70C is not gonna help you distill water.. ?
i've got little to add of use to the thread (apart from that outhouse bathrooms can still be damned cold with just a radiator in them!), but what kinda hippy goes for mains (fossil fuel/nuclear) charged batteries over sun power (charged batteries :p)?!
i would have thought they would have asked for your total fee? as they need the invoice for their records. think bout how it's shown on an invoice when you buy something. fee, tax breakdown, amount due. in practise to you it may not make a difference as they'll have your UTR number and sort it...
just started using the fatmax. ain't bad at all, given the price compared to the lovely looking veto. i find the straps kinda wideset so if walking a long way they do tend to slip off the shoulders a bit even when heavily loaded. maybe it's just my girly shoulders though..
but for slinging over...
logo'd shirt (fcuk :p), jeans/whatever (fcuk again today, gotta love charity shops). and then with all the money saved on charity shop clothes the most expensive pair of safety boots i can find in some futile attempt to avoid crippling myself forever (i'm with Tel on this one. though i can say i...
as an exercise, yep it's worth seeing which one is likely to go first, but for testing purposes you will only testing the downstream RCD so it's not a problem.
i'd always prefer the distribution circuit not on RCD where possible, but figure if there's an RCD on the dis. circuit at the house...
i did it before qualifying (still haven't). the 94/95 is an exam and practical, finishing the nvq takes portfolio work and assessments so it seemed logical to just crack out the exams and it's useful to be able to show a ticket if you need to test something. initial verification as said above is...
ah, you mean the "all-terrain cable stand", specifically designed for versatility on the roughest of jobsites. ;)
that beauty in the OP looks like it'd do no damage to a finished floor
not really safe to assume anything for us as it's too hard to get a picture of what's going on. could be quite a few options! can you give the model of the fitting?
