    Well am pulling in a 35 mm 4 core 75 meters useing rope . Just got the rope in and now have seen techscrew (about 100of them ) coming though the side , so up I go with a hammer to take the heads off . No Scissor lift here can't get it in up and down the ladder for me

    I know what Billy is onto all the evil landlords have been useing earthing systems designed for a round earth , in the full knowledge that the earth is flat and therefore a flattened earthing system is needed .ftt , ftns or ftncs ,the f it is not used anymore the lizard people put a stop to that

    Come across a light wired in SY yeasterdy . Shoved in a 13 amp plug, braid hanging out and very near to going in to the plug . Hate the stuff and should only be able to be sold with correct glands supplied

    To the op I think I know what you mean tails go into a isolator and then the wires go into the bottom of it , but now the wires are not double insulated and are out in the open . The earth side is not as much problem

    When did neutral at the light switch become standard practice?

    Am about 10 post later .i hate 3mm earth sleeving g on everything from single 1mm to squeezing it in section over a 3core swA . Does my head in buy a few different sizes and fit the correct one not just what you have left in the bag which is always 3mm
