Trying to figure out why I was electrocuted

If you get what the OP says thats called a shock. Electrocuted means you get a shock and die. Getting shocked and surviving is different and is not Electrocuted

Trying to figure out why I was electrocuted

True but its not trade speak as such. Electrocuted came from the words electric and executed.

    3rd week on level 2

Another thing I'll say is that there was a lad who also struggled with the maths and after just 2 weeks left the electrical course because he found it to challenging....instead he enrolled on the plumbing course. Is that what you REALLY want??:eek::eek:

    EICR lighting not on RCD

When doing an EICR and they don't have lights on an RCD I tell them their electrics are dangerous, disconnect then tell them I'm going to have to rewire the property with full RCBO board. Then I put my spurred boots on climb atop my horse and ride off into the sunset

    EICR and RCD's. Is it a C2 or C3?

I do that too. Did a job for a friend who wanted an extra socket put in did an rcd fcu so everything I put in was protected by a 30ma rcd

    EICR and RCD's. Is it a C2 or C3?

Mark it unsatisfactory. Then personally I would say a new board would be the best course of action if he declines at least you've done what you were paid to do and no one can argue with you on that

    EICR and RCD's. Is it a C2 or C3?

Surely if its an EICR you don't need to provide an rcd unless the client has asked??

Own up , who wired these consumer units....?

I'm sure he would knowing his arrogance and drive to rack up the numbers 1593260353 I'm assuming he's isolated the supply to the first DB because surely he wouldn't have the covers off whilst all the switches are on?

I'm asking as my work want us to move to 3 full tests a day (one lad likes to brag he can do 5 or more) but this also includes repairs like open circuits (in social housing so believe me tenants have lots of furniture or crap and aren't helpful at moving it) or smashed sockets etc. I was...

The spec was Once you have done the communal periodic ensure that you change some saddles for metal ones. They don't wanna spend a fortune (we are social housing) and they want me to get it done as quick as possible so I'm just wondering how many or what spacing I should follow to do this

    Metal saddles for communal areas

hi guys So I'm tasked with replacing plastic saddles in communal areas. App D in the OSG says saddles can have a max spacing of 1.5m apart. I know from past experiences that any conduit passing over must have a metal saddle in place. So was wondering will it be OK to replace the plastic...
