    Not many sparks will sign off other people work, NICEIC does not let any body third party testing. The only way is to get the LBC to have an EICR,but if it does not mean a building control will not part p the work.

    Not nessasary, two ways if your circuit has a fault, disconnect both lines and cpc You need to test which side of the cable is damaged.

    considering you work for a company that you are insured with them ,to start on somebody property you will not be insured. has you say what you have got E.g. city a guilds . to go down that route you will need public liability& indemnity has well . some time is it worth it for a couple of crates...
