Never have I lay down on the floor to reach for a cable under the floorboards only to crush my phone against my screw driver and crack the screen. !
The people that do these sorts of things are brain washed from an early age. Can they be persuaded to go against what they are taught as a child, led to believe and what is ingrained in them so deeply? I'm not so sure. The "do gooders" believe they can!
The security services do a good job of...
Its sad that in this day and age atrocities like this go on. Human beings you'd expect are civilized and understand the value of life and how precious it is. Senseless, pointless killings of innocent people, especially children sickens me to the core.
Can't you just leave it where it is and tidy it up? Or maybe locate it in a position where cable extension is not required?
I'm not a personal fan of extending cables unless its absolutely necessary.
Never have I been absolutely bursting for the loo on site with no where to powder my nose, only to use a bucket in the back of my van then find out too late the bucket has a leak.
Sounds like you luckily have a well installed bath! The quality of the bath, i.e thickness and construction can make a difference along with the quality of the sealant. Also when we install baths we support all the edges with timber so that any movement between the bath and tile is eliminated...

Replace the transformer with a higher rated one, the cost will be minimal. If you can though go with what Midwest first suggested and replace the light fittings with 230v led's , they last much longer, use less energy and run cooler.
If you plan on leaving the joint easily accessible then its an option, assuming there's enough slack and can be terminated correctly. But If you intend to plaster back over the joint then no they would not.
Have it repaired professionally. That method is not the way to do it properly and safely. Its not worth the agro, if you get it wrong then it could end up costing you more in the long run.
These type of questions get raised on many of the science forums I'm a member of.
The problem is they often start with a premise that is not possible in the first place. So, yes I agree its a good question in that its quite easy to answer and understand. So long as its accepted that there is not...
Would it not make more sense to use a car battery? For the alternator direct connection to work as described (assuming you have enough Amp output) then the alternator would have to rotate at a constant rpm to produce a constant rate of power. I'd be more tempted to connect the invertor to a...
