    It's a solid core, looks pretty much same as a cat/data cable size.. cameras are definitely 12v. It doesnt mention +- on the voltage.

    I'd say take 3 core from old switch position to new switch position and let joiner cover it if only small gap/slice of same material.. Nothing wrong with little Pvc trunking inside cupboard, suface box, some painters mate and wipes... Send a pic when you done whatever you decide

    Depends on the paint type, but I'd say is fine and I'd leave alone. Just my opinion.

    Armoured burried in soil is good enough, plastic over the top is even better, its dogs dangles if you have black and yellow marker tape to top off. after that tell them you need digger.

    Single phase motor humming and heating up.

    I dont know enough about the hydraulics of the pump or any pump and the workings of these fluid directional valves... I wasnt there when he came out. Main thing is its sorted and was a hydraulic issue.
