Hi all, been asked to install sub meters in an office building which is being sub divided and let out as smaller units.
The owner/landlord intends to recover power costs fro tenants in each unit.
Haven’t been to site yet, but understand the following:
- Each smaller unit has its own sub board (...
As has been said, only you can make the decision. I'd want to have a clear understanding of the building firm - how long trading, type of core works, how are they perceived by their core existing & potential clients, type of client base etc.
All about assessing risk v reward!
Hi, does anyone have any knowledge of what's required for the AM2 or FICA (Scotland) risk assessment. It appears to relate to use of the booth during the actual trade test(s).
So, ideally looking for views/ideas on the risks and related control measures specifically for this test.

Q1 - my answer or Tel's????? BTW the supply from DB to the switch fuse is protected by a 32A mcb.
Q2 - any idea where I can find the answer. As indicated, the question is from a 17th Ed Amd3 exam, so I'm guessing the answer must be in the regs somewhere, I just can't find it!

Emergency lighting not included; fire alarm - include circuit up to spur.
Key to any EICR, but especially commercial, is to agree any limitations in advance with the customer e.g. any height limits, any circuits you cannot switch off; is it 100% of circuits; what % of accessories removed &...

And the reduced size rcbos , without the functional earth, means plenty of room.
Only downside is...
C’mon OP!!!! You have asked for and been given very good advice. Given the location and length of extract duct, you will be wasting money by fitting anything other than a direct replacement.
Hi folks, anyone know of a supplier of blanking plugs for Lucy/Henley blocks - for use where the break out.....has been broken out and no longer has a conductor in place.
