    Q1 - my answer or Tel's????? BTW the supply from DB to the switch fuse is protected by a 32A mcb. Q2 - any idea where I can find the answer. As indicated, the question is from a 17th Ed Amd3 exam, so I'm guessing the answer must be in the regs somewhere, I just can't find it! Thanks fellas.

    Yep, on the Accents Gen4 you can programme area 2 so that on part set, intermediate/inhibit zones become entry/exit ( in addition to the normal entry exit. Make Z1 entry/exit and Z2 the inhibited zone.

    Aico very time. As you say, with the radio bases/modules they are not cheap. I try only to use the radio interlink as a last resort!

    It’s perfectly possible that a cable joint has degraded, leading to a rise in the external loop impedance. As has been said, one for the dno to sort out; might convert to pme or tell you to put in a rod.

    C’mon OP!!!! You have asked for and been given very good advice. Given the location and length of extract duct, you will be wasting money by fitting anything other than a direct replacement.
