    One down side to keep in mind regarding contactors , is that if you lose power on the coil circuit , you lose all lighting,( or whatever you are controlling) i.e. if you have lights spread over 3 phases and the building loses a phase, you could potentially lose all lighting as oppose to only a third

    I once went to a domestic property due to electrics playing up upon inspection I found reverse polarity at the main db. It corrected itself once the microwave was unplugged. So perhaps this is the same problem? And not the kitchen fitters at fault

    Bond the copper incoming water with 10mm of course you don't /can't bond plastic pipe. As long as circuits are rcd protected that's pretty much it Thats the short answer!!!!!!

    I don't know an awful lot about dimmable LEDs , but my experiences of them is that they are problematic Maybe that's why you are getting conflicting advice

    Testing is all very well if you can assure all is disconnected , but you can get readings from elements ,motors etc , which can be misleading

    Maybe it has nothing to do with the boiler? Customers are not always accurate with their information.i.e. something else may have been on, fridge, a fan etc
