Why has nominal voltage gone from 250Volts back in the good old days, to 240Volts, several years ago, to 230Volts more recently?
What is the legal max and min tolerance in the 230Volt level?
The above program on BBC1 Wed this week reported a consignment of 800 copies of the Big Green Book and the Electrician's Site Guide which are counterfeits and being sold cheaper than the normal price. Both have errors within them.

The cable is made by TOWER and to...
Thanks again, Ted.
What would happen to the energy surplus, generated by say many consumers with arrays in the locality, during high sun shine while very few consumers are needing energy and are out at work (i.e. little or no demand). Does surplus energy find its way back via distribution...
Thanks for that, Richard. Is it true that some energy meters do reverse while the consumer load is low as the PV system actually feeds into the supply? I have a friend electrician who thinks this cannot happen.
I know nout about PV systems.
Is it possible that the system, when there is nil demand by the consumer, can feed energy back into the supply?
I believe there are two energy meters used.
Sorry if this basic thing has been asked before.
Two scenarios:-
1. If the client ignores the report, consequences?
2. If the corrective work is carried out an paid for, does contractor reissue the same report after testing the corrected work, or if months have passed since the original EICR, is a re-inspection required?
Well, by follow up I mean who polices that remedial action is carried out? Then after that does the original test and inspection contractor re test only that remedial work, or has a completely new inspection report required?
