    A builder friend introduced me to screwshop.co.uk a couple of years ago; I haven’t bought CSK wood screws or red plugs anywhere else since. I do like the Orbix screws though. The CEF web site had some good prices on tubs of them recently.

    A client has a Wylex NHRS RCD main switch CU with MCBs prefixed NSB. I don’t use or see a lot of Wylex kit; are the newer NHXL prefixed MCBs compatible with this ’board?

    I used a Nissan Navarra for 30 months to work out of and the more I used it, the more I hated it. I didn’t mean to roll it in the snow (and I lost a packet on it) but I was much happier working out of a Peugeot Expert for the next 5 years whilst I paid it off.

    I have to agree here. I’m not at all a fan of RFCs, but there are circumstances where it makes more sense to use one instead of a radial. And I also agree that one 16A or 20A radial Circuit for general use Sockets per Floor is plenty for the average dwelling.

    I’ve used the switches from “ Switch To Wood” as mentioned above. Really rather good, but really rather expensive too. In the right house they’re the mutts nuts.
