    Cable/wire strippers??

I find the Klein set to be better than CK. Seems to cope with 6.0mm² better too. More expensive though.

    Stanley Fatmax Organiser Tool Bag

I've got the one you've linked. I've been using it for years. It's a great bag. I would say more suitable for hand tools, than power tools, although I guess you could squeeze a drill in there if it's not overloaded with hand tools. I'm sure I paid way more than that price.

    MCBs tripping randomly?

A few questions. Did you not carry out a full eicr before the board change? All new colour cables in your photo - a full rewire at some stage, extended circuits or a newish property? Knowing you have had on going issues, you chose to fit a dual rcd board rather than an rcbo board (and no spd).

Do Wylex RCBO's fit as a replacement for NSB MCB's?

Freezer with faulty anti frost element creating fault intermittently maybe. Came across this before after a lot of head scratching

    New Circuit. Help please guys.

Thanks for the advice MDJ. I haven't had any experiance with these air source heat pumps, I didn't know they could be so troublesome with RCD's. These are domestic installs rather than factory though. Anyway thanks for your help, I've been thrown in the deep end a bit with 16 units to check, but...

    New Circuit. Help please guys.

I need to find this stuff out. My initial query was on the basis that a new circuit needs to be rcd protected? Or am I ust being overly simplistic?

    New Circuit. Help please guys.

Hi Mike, thanks for prompt reply. I think I need to have a longer chat with the installer to confirm but, I'm sure it's rotary isolators on the ends, I don't think they're wired in armoured. What do you mean by caged? Metal cage around them on the external unit? This firm has suddenly got a...

    New Circuit. Help please guys.

Hi guys. Recently passed ELECSA assessment, woohoo. I'm after a bit of advice. I've been asked by a local firm to test & certify there air source heat pump wiring. To date they've fitted 16 that need doing, already commissioned. I've been told that they've all been put on a dedicated circuit...
