    As you say the US / UK adaptor has no earth. The transformer plug has no earth. Is the transformer part of the Laser package? or is it "compatable" and is just a transformer? Any part number or coding on the transformer? Look for SELV / PELV perhaps

    AFAIK socket height is recomended but customer can insist on whatever they want within reason. Perhaps discuss and show them the pics in OSG and let them decide As for 4mm / 2.5mm, its a new circuit with new cable.... you decide what you thinks best.

    Dont work for others, if i do rarely my invoices state "consultancy fee" which is non construction work :) If your with an accountant and you are newly LTD, then just change accountant? Does your accountant know your income info? Lets put it simply....... £11 an hour 40 hours a week = £410 48...

    Hes right, however his bill will be £x per year so make sure theres that in the bank per week. Your tax will all be taken care off from the CIS, keep receipts for claimable items as you counter the CIS with them

    Do your cable calcs, dont forget max vdrop on lighting etc. 25m run off the ring may prove high ZS values. Much better job to run a new cable from C.U

    You did the pat testing course, do you have a meter etc, are you even able to pat test efficiently? I did mine ages ago and forgot most. Volunteer down a local charity, they usually pay for pat testing, couple of mornings and youll be a dab hand :)
