Been offered an aprenticeship with Clarkson and Evans

Dave , I can not see why you would want to go from a reasonably specialist job working in quarries , with ( I am assuming ) the possibility of other job opportunities in this sector . To working with every man and his dog ( most of them now trained less than your average toddler ) in a sector of...

What size earth on a TT ?

I did not over like the idea at the time , but it did save a fair bit of time . Not that it matters now as we went back to doing so anyway .

Would you accept a Ze of 199Ω on a TT Installation which also has an RCD.

I was in Thame service station last year filling up and the tanker was there unloading at the same time . The next thing I know is the driver running across the forecourt after a skip waggon playing bloody hell !? The skip waggon did not stop , and as the tanker driver was walking back past me...

Re: Would you accept a Ze of 200Ω on a TT Installation which also has an RCD. Granted HHD , but you could have just as easily referred to it as Isc for that matter then ! After all terminology is quite important in our industry .

What size earth on a TT ?

I do not blame you either ! This was 5 or 6 years ago now , and to be honest their appearance more bemuses me than anything else now days , but we still try to look like we are jumping through the hoops , for a easy life if nothing else ! I remember our first assessor ( 10 years ago ) , he had...

What size earth on a TT ?

The trouble is , the assessor has the potential to cause us a lot of hassle if he chooses to ! This is the same scam provider that had one eyed Robin on their books ( I am sure some will know him ! ) , he got very iffy with us one year whilst on a site visit after he noticed that we had stopped...

What size earth on a TT ?

What do others think of this one !? On one of our last scam visits , we got talking about TT and he came out with the need to install 16mm from the rod !? 16mm ! I query ? Yep look in you on site guide , he says ! I have since phoned the technical help line on another matter and also raised...

    Spot the mistake !

I would say that you are correct , but then again being on the company side of the supply it is out of bounds for us anyway . I wonder if , even resetting it after a trip could constitute tampering !?:willy_nilly:

    Spot the mistake !

I like it how the meter boys have been in and fitted a new meter and what looks like a new fuse and carrier , and sealed all of their gear back up , but just walked off and left the old rcd in line without a second thought !

    Spot the mistake !

It could do with a bit of a clean up but I have seen worse by a long way , and yes the rcd is before the meter . It is in a old Hosier prefab milking parlour , which is pretty much just a big tin shed .

    Spot the mistake !

I went to look at what supply we had to work with , for a new grain store that one of the local agricultural dealerships , who we work with is quoting for . Can you spot the mistake !?
