Terminal "covers" for Bosch 10.8v\12v lithium batteries?

As the title suggests, I am looking for some simple insulating covers to go over the terminals of my Bosch batteries to prevent any chance of them shorting while rattling about in a tool bag... I have seen some 3D print plans for such items, but can't find anyone selling the items...

Safety Concerns Over a Shower Upgrade??

Just want to says thanks again for all the advice and to give a follow up... I popped around there today and I think I got the message across. Could electrolysis be an energy storage medium for our next energy future?

This technology has been around for over 50 years in the form of hydrogen fuel cells. These convert oxygen and hydrogen into electricity, with water as the by product.. Most famously it was the source of the explosion that almost destroyed Apollo 13..

    Van secure boxes (van vaults)

For folks who use Vanvaults and other similar systems, just watch what hand tools you leave accessible in the van otherwise you're just giving the thieving scrotes a helping hand.. Also, for a cheaper alternative to a pukka van vault, have a look for secondhand shotgun, rifle, or ammo security...

Safety Concerns Over a Shower Upgrade??

Thanks gents that's much appreciated..I realised that the draw would be in excess of 50 amps, but wasn't sure if I was missing something like "diversity" ...as I say this is way over my pay grade, and just was asking to make sure I wasn't worrying over nothing.. I forget the brand of the...

Safety Concerns Over a Shower Upgrade??

Hi Folks, Not been on here for a while, but something came up the other day that has me concerned to the point I thought I would ask here. A good friend asked me if I would connect up a new electric shower for him. This is an older gent, a farmer, and as much I like to look out for him and his...

    Two Pin Socket Outlets???

Trying to avoid charging and/or keeping the toothbrush in the bathroom as the "logical" place to fit a shaver socket would mean the charger base would be on a window sill over the toilet, which is probably not the most hygienic location.... At present we are using one of those two pin adaptors...

    Two Pin Socket Outlets???

Can anybody recommend a two pin 230V socket outlet suitable for charging electric toothbrushes? The nearest I have been able to find is a dual voltage shaver socket, but I don't really need the 110V as I don't use an electric shaver. The socket will be mounted within an enclosed airing...

    Domestic Electrician course sought

I would love to do what you are doing, but feel I've left it way too late (I'm 52).... Given that you are a qualified truck driver, I would think at least you could do driving agency work while getting yourself set up in the new career? The pay might not be brilliant, but it might be enough to...

Recommendations please - rechargeable work light

Only ever slightly off topic, but is there a LED replacement bulb for the old 500W Halogen R7s bulbs? I can see a few which physically fit, but the light output is only equivalent to a 60W bulb where as I was looking for something giving a similar output to the original 500w bulb...
