Bit of a debate today, advice please as regs book not possible to get in my hands until tomorrow. Immersion heater tripping mcb when timer switches off

Paddy are you an electrician? If so I'd connect it straight through and take the timer out of the equation and turn it on and off via the local spur and see if it trips. If you aren't qualified then get someone who is to have a look and they may do the same mate.

Is it one of those setups that seem quite common these days. The bedroom tv point will run to the back of the main tv point. Usually a module in a muti gang data plate, it needs a splitter from the aerial to plug into this return module and loop the signal to the bedroom. Usually a setup I have...

    Visual and Audio training

The Loxone stuff looks top notch, they get you on the course and you buy some kit from them and become a 'partner.' It all looks very interesting! There is nobody in my local area on the list of partners so it was something I was thinking about too.

getting work as a start up. Is agency, subbying a way to go?

Sorry to hear about your redundancy mate, I've thought about subbying to be fair to supplement my own work if I was to make the jump from being employed, which I'm tempted to do after working at the same place for 17 years after leaving school! This may sound a bit controversial but if I was...
