    What sort of height are you looking at using it on the tripod at? As alot of them will only start at about 600mm due to the legs of them, you may be better getting a pole kit so you can use it a lot lower, but they work floor to ceiling so you would have to loom for one that would fit them...

    So the earth is terminated externally to the light fitting via a connector block? If so how does the earth enter the light fitting?

    All that to ask about the location of a shower pull cord? In reply to the question section 701 of BS7671 covers the location of electrical accessories in rooms with a bath or shower in it.

    Got some of them in the garage, although not sire I would rely on them to hold too mich weight, would rather have a timber baton or other reliable fixing for anything of a reasonable weight.
