    Element question?

    Morning guys, Appliances are not my forte but I'm helping a friend. I've replaced his 1800W element that was blown. When I turn the isolator on the element in question just goes on by itself, without even turning it on at the knob. Obviously this is why the last one burned out. Any ideas why...

    Smeg oven advice?

    Evening guys, Ive got a smeg under unit oven. Everything is working apart from the heat when the oven is turned on. The fan and light come on but no heat. I'm no good with appliances, but I'm guessing the element. Can anyone tell me a test I can carry out to identify the problem? Cheers fella's
