Has said extension had normal lights installed to pass building then paper trail-less down lights installed separately at a later date?

You don't need to tell us the costs of what you've done mate, we're already aware. Unfortunately they're many like you who are getting robbed of 5,6,7k and promised the earth with these short courses.
Your experience in Italy counts for nothing i am afraid, you need to become competent or show...

You can spend all this hard earned dosh on these courses that promise the world, albeit they say they give you the technical experience (which is to be desired when an apprenticeship can take 4years+)
However, out in the real world its all that more complicated than the pretty pictures of the...
When these surfaced i must admit, i thought they were quite a good idea. Started even pushing them forward when people were having extra sockets installed...try these, more expensive but free's up a socket space ect...
That was within the first few weeks of them coming into the wholesalers...
