    I would be asking what reg number they dont comply with? When he cant tell me as it won be covered by BS7671 then ask him why he thinks he competant to carry out a EICR when he is coding items not covered by it.

    I cant be arsed to read 10 pages, but I voted remain, seen the first few posts saying people voted leave and would do so again. But even now you dont know what your getting when we finally leave, surely things arent that bad that you just want to leave regardless of the deal offered?

    Sounds like it would be easier to cut a patch out, put a piece of timber in then patch it afterwards, as that will also help in the future if they want to swap the fittings again.

    Always amazes me, install harmonized colours on a DB with old colours you have put a massive sticker on it, yet you used to see a right mish mash of colours sometimes on older install without even a thought that maybe I dont know whats what.
