    I do a lot of work on TT installs, I always have to knock 2 x 5/8 rods in to get the reading below 200ohms. I have still not achieved a reading lower than 100 even with a bucket of water :-)

    Well guys, I'm not gonna pretend I'm an expert on EICR's. I will continue learning as will all of us. My reasoning is that earthing is extremely important in an installation, so as it is more than double the recommended value as set out in the BGB. Regards

    All wiring is surface, so am I right in saying that only circuits supplying portable equipment would need to be on RCD or would it just be easier to put everything on RCD?

    Hi guys, This is the situation in a customer of mine`s house. There is 2 tv points downstairs which I have identified out of 2 of these cable coming out of the wall in an upstairs box room. I dont know where the 3rd cable is going. there is no sign of any ariel ever being mounted on the outside...
