    A little off topic here, But wasn't Sparksafe set up in NI to try and clean up the electrical industry with regards to practicing electricians ? Perhaps I mis - understood their intention. Or again was that just a voluntary thing ?

    What you have been given is an Installation Certificate which every electrician worth their salt will give you when they have completed any work be this a full installation, a minor works or an EICR. The Certifcate from Building control is a totally separate thing, this is to say that the work...

    Applicance house and Applicances direct list cut out sizes but to be honest I think you will struggle on a ceramic hob on that cut out size.

    Like Strima has said ! I have a crewcab van, one of my best decisions I have to say on the transport front ! I had several vans over the years and although I also had use of a car it become a bit of a pain having to come back to swop over vehicles to pick grandkids up etc,.
