Metallic liquid tight conduit in under 6' lengths & circuits 20A is usually permitted for grounding*, I don't really care for it, but there are other ways too.
*It should be printed on the jacket.
In later NEC editions AFCI's are just about required on all residential 120V circuits, with a few exceptions, so it violates code to do so, for that reason I hesitate say that it's OK to do so. There used to be certain things that would cause them trip, Dyson vacuum cleaners was one item, but...
It was sold to Siemens & they brought back the original name, Murray, and sold both Murray, and Siemens (Formerly ITE) equipment at the same time, a few years ago they discontinued Murray, it's OK to use Siemens in them, but Crouse-Hinds used to label their panels as OK to use ITE EQ-P and...
Those are old/obsolete Despard switches, best solution long term solution is replace the box with a 3 gang giving the option of using more modern Decora® type devices.
That bare aluminum neutral is turning to a toothpaste like substance*, it's best to get it replaced ASAP, the 3-wire feeder may have been allowed then but a bare AL neutral underground is bad news & will need to be upgraded to a 4-wire feeder. BTW, a bare neutral in conduit is not a good thing...
I agree with others here, replace it as going to have to get a permit to reestablish power anyway, and the equipment was past it's prime 60 years ago. I doubt it would be allowed to be reconnected without new equipment.
A ancient Zinsco American Switch panel & aluminum wiring in a mobile home are not a good combination as said by others it needs to be replaced, those twin breakers were problematic throughout it's production life under 3 different brand names, Zinsco American Switch, GTE Sylvania, & Challenger...
While have read where people have used 3 HP VFD's on 5 HP Rockwell/Delta 12/14 table saws, I don't like it, just not right, most drives w/ single phase input stop at 3 HP, & a quality drive can be bought pretty cheap but over 3 HP with some exceptions* means using a 3 phase input drive that...
PoCo= power company. They all have their rules "specs" & some can even be crazy as long as their rules are followed in addition to the NEC, there should not be any problems.
If the OP is in California, PG&E, in particular but SoCal Edison, & San Diego Gas & Electric also have been doing "Public Safety Power Shutoffs" PSPS for short & when they kill the power you are on your own, I live 20 mins from Paradise CA where the deadly Camp Fire occurred in 2018, not been...
With AFCI's being required for almost all residential 120V circuits, it makes it very hard, expensive, and sometimes impossible to use multiwire circuits, & some circuits like kitchen small appliance branch circuits also required to have GFCI protection too, 2 pole AFCI's & GFCI's are not as...
What is on the other side of your semi-flush panel? If a garage is on the other side, put it in the garage, I am assuming the Reliance is a indoor model anyway.
15A GFCI's are 20A feed through, as long as there is more then 1 receptacle on a circuit 15A receptacles are code compliant on a 20A circuit. No need to waste money on 20A receptacles.
