    EMT not unsafe just down right rough. I’d like to know if the supply tails are burind in the wall. Make sure you dont screw any coat hangers up on the wall

    Why the worry for fusing down? Hes used 2.5 as as spur, no ones going to be using this new socket for anything as it must be hidden under the units

    Tbh callum, its a better job than some who i know would do. I’ve some drill a hole through worktop and plug the lights into a socket and use that as there switching

    You might not even need to swap your 10mm earth for a 16mm anyhow. Fuse out, existing tails into iso then new tails into your new board.

    Reckon you’re spot on. Been to loads of jobs to just change face plates after someones had a new kitchen, but because they’ve probably gone for the cheapest price on the kitchen install, no electrics have been altered to suit there lovely new kitchen layout

    Are you testing you R1R2 at the consumer unit or at a socket? You sure you havent got you 2 cpcs touching if test at the CU and they’re not fully sleeved or seperated?
