Just to add to my post above, the SMA bluetooth manual states than a connection to the Sunny Beam is not possible with the NetID set to 1, you need to use 2-F
Had the same problem with a SB2000HF the other day, Sunny Beam refused to detect the inverter when set to position 1. Tried setting rotary switch C to another setting (A in this case) and it all worked.
We opened an additional business bank account specifically for this purpose, your bank will be able to sort this out for you. Not sure if this is the correct way to do it, it is just my interpretation of the REAL code.
Does anyone know how to calculate the required distance between rows of modules to avoid any shading issues? I may need to mount the panels at less than 30° to avoid the need for planning permission and would rather not use mounts such as the Solion model as these waste valuable roof space...
I did the PV installer course there last month. Overall very impressed with the course content and the knowledge of the instructor (Mick Neville), I do however agree with dansk that the practical session was too short. I plan to use them again for G59 in the not too distant future.

You would have thought that this is the case Malcolm, the insulation of a cable is tested to xx volts whereas a sheath is designed for mechanical protection only, hence not tested for insulation.
