    Batteries: Where do you get yours?

    Old laptop batteries or dead power tool batteries are a good supply of LiPo 18650 - cut the tabs and solder into pairs or us singles in your headlamp - get a charger online but avoid cheap and nasty ones unless your really well insured for fire damage!!!

    Just making a point really - it was a squeeze and a bit unnecessary imho. And working off steps in the cold it was a lot easier to only have to push in the solid cores. Heat covers were only on 3 wires and theres no way these things will get remotely warm so I reckon they were OTT. The PIRs...

    AFDDs and SPDs has anyone read up on these things yet?

    10: does it have a thatched roof fit? yes/no 20: if yes fit an AFDD 30: if no go to post 1 Please correct syntax as appropriate. Maybe a flow chart would be more appropriate - with client decision boxes and "read appropriate reg." boxes. Could be a fun exercise for someone!
