    I'm going to move a consumer unit and the. cables may or may not reach the new location, once its moved however the old location will no longer be accessible, If required I intend to extend any circuits using crimp connectors, any comments?

    I would definitely disconnect the ring at every socket split everything and start testing each individual leg, something somewhere is going to show up, if it doesn’t start replacing the the accessories one by one and see what happens

    I'm no sure what to think but if the DC amperage exceeds the 1A DC that the switch states it's rated at then you'd be unwise not to take heed.

    Yes the Aico aint cheap, but if you fit battery Hispec ones in your own property then you can deal with any faults or issues yourself, however its a different story if you supply and fit them for a customer and you keep getting issues.

    Hi, baldelectrician doesn't BS 5839 Part 6 Grade D1 Category LD1 compliant regs want mains powered units as opposed to all battery which falls into the BS 5839 Part 6 Grade F1 compliant regs?
