    As everyone else has said..relays. I've done a few biomass installs now, biggest one to date is one boiler to supply 6 houses/plots. We install 1 relay for each plot next to the control panel in the plant room.

    Exactly what eng says..... don't let landlords push you around and tell YOU what to do. Cos they will!! Tell him the score, either Class 2 fittings OR rewire the lighting OR walk away! it's hard to walk away, particularly if you need the work (?) but 95% of the time it's worth it in the long...

    The fact that it's wet suggests the seals are gone in the enclosure.... just replace the lot in my opinion. ... :)

    Maybe i'm getting really confused, the earth block is attached to the service head, in the picture it hasn't got a cover like it normally would have... would it be ok for me to put a 16mm earth into that block without the DNO? seeing that its their property?
