I have another s7-1200 which I have generated a project from scratch using v11 of the tia portal. This seems to work fine.
So i know the lead is ok. (plus its brand new)
Aparently v11 should be backwards compatable with 10.5
I will keep digging

Hi All,
Wondering if anyone has had a similar problem with a Siemens S7-1200 PLC.
I have a customer with one of these PLCs controlling the temp of some tanks, he now wants to add an extra tank and we are doing the wiring / programming etc.
The customer has no drawings or the original project...
Have never used 'Basics' before normally MK or Newlec if screwed on price. But this time no one else could get close to price.
Got visions of going back to change out at my own cost.........

Nope no grids in floor.
Have seen the diagrams and various best practices. I was just wondering if i bonded each cattle pen with say a 4-6mm, it would have to be mechanically protected to stop the beasts damaging the cable/termination.

Arrived at little old ladys house, changed the kitchen lights she wanted swapping out.
The decided to investigate the flashing CFL. (went armed with some RC networks from RS)
(bearing in mind I changed the CFL for a std tungsten lamp last week)
She said' I couldn't get that light to...

i.e. Lounge to dining room and vice versa. Lamp only flickers on lounge fitting.
And only for the last week or so.
Little old lady has had no work done or changed the lamps etc...etc...
