    another silly question, i am thinking to buy a SDS drill for thick wall, but my cordless drill is not hard enough and the battery goes flat very quickly, but i found every SDS drill has 110v and 230v two options, why not everyone buys 230v so dont need to buy the transformer? sorry you might...

    230v lights in bathroom

    Hi I was just wondering what peoples views were on 230v downlights in zone 1. I know you can get them IP65 rated but I'm still reluctant to fit them over 12v downlights. Has anyone else fitted these in zone 1 and what are your views? Cheers

    Hi, Had a question today. Why do the yanks use 110V and the UK use 230V? What are the costs and benifits? Which one is better? Any help with this one is appreciated.

    I quite often hear people referring to the mains voltage as 230V but also 240V. What do the 17th edition regs class it as? Thanks

    230v or 12v

    Hi Guys I am going to install some track lighting in a pub. I was wondering what the pros and cons are for 230v halogen fittings and 12v halogen fittings. Seen some really good 230v tracks that will work really well but im a bit concerned that they will gobble up electricity. Thanking you Guybrows

    hi guys just a quick one. is this suitible to put in place of the electrical feed to a boiler as a meens of switching the power to it on and of automaticly? basicly my normal boiler stat thing is broke and i want something that i can wire in twin and earth to cut and give power to the boiler...
