    When does Extraneous become Exposed? or vicaversa.

    OK...here's the scenario... Metallic incoming water & gas pipes, plastic clipped, no branches, to a correctly wired combi, but not connected. The pipes are Extraneous, the combi metalwork is Exposed. Connect the pipes to the combi... No involving metal window frames, knives and forks etc etc!
