I'm currently choosing a domestic PV system and had a number of installers round. No two people say the same thing so I'm doing a lot of research to try to make up my own mind! I've found Electricians Forum invaluable - thank you.

When installing a switch fuse isolator, 3 phase, which brand do you choose and how much do you pay.
Which have plenty of space for wiring?
Thanks for you view and opinions:icon14:
Gotta say the selection seems bizarre.
It is nice to have lots available, but when lots aren't presented for selection, as when using a quick reply, surely it should be the basic ones you get - wink/smile/grin/laugh/sad/oops etc?
Just my 2p worth...

We have been installing a lot of Sharp NU range over the last few months. We use Sanyo HIT range if roof space is an issue.
I have heard and read some negative comments on the Sharp panels recently but have not seen any data/ proof to back these comments up. However, this has got us thinking we...

Just looking for others view on the way they would approach containment in small commercial units. I know cost is an important factor, but if the customer hasn't specified exactly what they would like, would you go down?

What type of cable is best suited for outside lights, bearing in mind I do not want to use SWA or cable in conduits; just clip on to external wall, exposed to all elements of nature.
Any feedback will be much appreciated.
Thanks.
