Hi, when doing a pir on a house what do you do when coming across these situations preventing you getting an R1+R2 or Zs?
1) you can't access 5 or so ceiling spots because they have been helpfully siliconed in place and taking out will cause damage.

Hi new to pat testing just got Fluke 6500 tester and was wondering the process for testing a hard wired appliance like a dishwasher which has a spur switch above work top.

when pat testing class 2 equipment do you only have to do a insulation resistance test as a miniumum? or do you have to do more to cover the code of practice

changed a consumer unit today from old wylex board to new 17th dual rcd, when i was stripping out i noticed no earth in the lights cable. what would be the best way around this re-wire or can you fit class 2 fittings and switches.
