I did a peridodic inspection where the flat has 3 interlinked smoke dectectors which are hard wired in. They all ran out of date in Feb this year, What code would you mark this as?
Hi, I have recently carried out a PIR on a church. The equipotential bonding to the gas and water go back to the sub main in a meeting room where the stop tap and meter are. What code should be assigned as these should go back to the origin?
Has anybody had to use the SMA grid code unlock system?
Looking at the SB4000TL once the code has been entered say via sunny explorer, is it possible then to simply use the grid setting dials (A & B) on the inverter or does it have to be changed using sunny explorer.
Hi guys
has anyone got a table of where to use which code of the new regs c1 c2 c3
in particular what code covers cables less than 50mm in a wall, is it c2 potentially dangerous???
any help will be great :-)
With EICRs replacing PIRs i thought i would start using them but am confused by the new codes
If the installation is safe but does not comply with the new regs (the old code 4) do you put it as C3 requires improvement or just a tick.

3. 13A socket in loft on lighting circuit
Was thinking about coding them 4, 2, 2

Hi.
I'm currently studying for full scope and for some reason it took me FOREVER to find the page of IP codes as it's not listed in the index.

Hi guys.
Just wanted to ask what code you would give an old wylex fuse board with wooden enclosure. It does have the plastic (plexolin I think it's called) plate at the back.
Also 2.5 T+E with 1.0mm CPC used for a ring main on a 3036 fuse.
Thanks in advance.
