Good Evening,
I trained as a domestic electrician, but the last 43 years were spent faultfinding inside panels, playing with building management systems, maintaining generators, and high voltage switchgear, and testing lightning conductors, so my wiring experience is varied, to say the least...
Anybody ever used these? Ive been asked to install them complete with remote control, customer has already bought the fittings. Situated in a bathroom so IP rated, will they work in an IP rated enclosure?

I was wondering on the views you have on lighting and the future. Do you think LED lighting is the way forward and other types of lighting will eventually become a thing of the past?
I'm sitting here in my hotel in a foreign country, taking a break from servicing a piece of equipment while some Loctite sets, browsing some old threads on various forums. Colour codes always seem to be popular topics so I came up with this little puzzle for the more widely travelled sparks. As...
When you are using 3 phase colours for live neutral and earth, should you use black or grey as neutral, I usually use black as it was the old neutral colour. I work self employed for various different companies and some say you should NEVER use black as neutral, others say only use black. I...
