Perennial question I know. Some little toerag knicked my Dewalt 18v combi drill and tool folder on Friday. Sorting out a replacement. What do you reckon is a good buy at the moment? A little reluctant to spend over £400.00 to replace the Dewalt.....

I'm looking to get a cordless sds mainly doing commercial so don't really need chisel. Mainly be used for fixings, 12mm anchors etc and maybe the odd 20mm hole.
Has anyone used the milwaukee m18 sds?? are 18v sds drills up to the job???. Was looking at bosch 36v aswell but there pricey...

Ok, so i have mains dewalt skill saw, hitachi 115mm grinder, makita multi tool. Am wondering - if i invest in 18v milwaukee stuff of all the above will i notice a real difference in power?! I'm particularly wondering about the grinder i suppose. Would it just lock up all the time if it was 18v...

ive used dewalt for past few years, combi has been ok. Used it with the nano batteries and they have out lasted both drills.
think is time I change them

I have a hitachi hss chuck even though I can't praise the drill enough I've had issues with the chuck and I replaced it with a supposedly heavy duty ( wasn't cheap !) but turnd out to be crap sticking closed all time and bit constantly dropping out , just wondering for the opinion of others...

Had my drill nicked, I would't normally bother posting this but if anyone gets offered an 18v dewalt drill, with the metal chuck, 2 lithium batts, one 2.6 ncad, and a charger with a 5inch cable (needed a bit of flex :P) and no handle (on the box) , please give me a shout :(
