anyone tried that bosch 18v cordless drill with 3 batteries from screwfix, any good ? currently on offer at £150 and i am tempted.reviews please before i either buy one or spend the money on something else i dont need.thanks.

been asked by friends of my girlfriend to look at puttinga switch inside her huse to switch a 500w pir flood she has on an out building, i said its a lot of hassle and cost ahving to run another swa cable for it just to switch it from the house rather its current location in the out building...

I have spoke to Bosch who said this is correct, but the shop I bought it from say otherwise. Any ideas????
My Makita 12v combi drill, which is probably around 5 years old, seems to have less power than it used to. When the batts are fully charged they give 14.08 volts, but when the drill trigger is pressed, rather than spinning right up to speed, the motor seems to gradualy build up to full speed...

as I've been building up my tool kit over the last year I'm now looking into getting a drill for chasing. From what I've read on other posts that cordless isn't the way to go for this sort of work and have spotted the following offer and was looking for advice/other suggestions.

Makita 5093 I find is perfect for cutting floorboards.
Its a 12v cordless mini circular saw with a thin blade making it just right for cutting floorboards. A lot neater job than using a full size circular saw.
I had used one of these many times as my workmate had one but no longer working...
