Hi,
I passed my 236 P1&2 many years ago and I only ever worked on buildings, so no twin & earth for me.
Can anyone tell me if I would need to take any extra exams to do household work?
Many Thanks
Jason

Does anyone know what the difference is between the two? And is the Europa worth as much as the Europa Plus?
I can see that the front differs slightly (where the qwerty is), but what is the difference in terms of performance, i.e. when PAT testing.
What are the main differences between:
1. Seaward Europa &
2. Seaward Europa Plus
I can see that the front differs slightly (where the qwerty is), but what are the differences in terms of actually doing the PAT testing.

I just had a 4kW system installed.
It uses the Samil Solarriver 4000TL-D inverter which has 2 DC inputs. There are 2 strings of 8 panels, each going to one input of the inverter.
All the panels have the same aspect and zero shading in the afternoon so I'd expect them to supply the same power at...
Hi all,
Does anyone know a rough estimate on how much more it costs to have a key meter compared to a standard meter?
Obviously it varies depending on the usage but a rough idea on whether its a lot higher or only slightly would be good,
Thanks
Hello everyone!
I needed a clamp meter on a job last week. It was the first time ive needed one so as i was picking up some gear i picked up one of those Handyman test kits.

Have seen two types of double gang socket outlets, single pole and double pole. Not sure what the difference is. My guess is one is for use on a spur and one for a ring final but would like a definitive answer. Thx
Went to look at a 10KW install today that was installed last june and company went bust.
The Power one 3 phase inverter reads 4274Kwh's where the elster A1140 reads only 4066Kwh's
I havent seen one with this much difference before is this an acceptable difference?
