    Dodgy Socket

    Hi all, I replaced a 2 gang socket today that had a neutral fault, the socket itself was knackered, one half wasn't working at all. Anyway, since I have replaced it, the circuit keeps tripping the MCB every half hour or so. Any ideas? Socket is fine now by the way. Nick

    Dodgy Light Fitting??

    Hello, my mate just give me a call, they said every week or 2 there light fitting in living room blows a bulb which has its top blown off, this then trips out all down stairs lights, going to have a look at it soon, but could it just be a dodgy light fitting??

    Dodgy workmanship ?

    If I was to attend a customers house to add a circuit, and after I have completed the install I spotted; or a test showed up some previous electrical work that was potentialy dangerous, I advise the client of the issue and he/she tells me to leave it as it is where do I stand.
